Energy is one of the 7 damage types and is often found on Pulse, MagCannon, Torpedo, and Thorax weaponry. Weapon Varieties
A Critical Hit from an energy weapon will damage your engine, negating all thrust and leaving you helplessly floating out into space for 2 seconds.
