Upping the ante

Gurjster has decided to up the ante. The pot is now 750m total! Wow! New prize progression: 1st: 250m, 2nt: 200m, 3rd: 150m, 4th: 100m and 5th: 50m. There have been two contest submissions so far... Voyager vs borg's essay on AI stations and Soullesss essay on the way of Adum.

Essay Contest!

End of universe Essay Contest! Rewards: 100m, 50m and 50m. The best 3 essays submitted between now and the end of the universe will be rewarded. Outage

As many have noticed, the wiki was down for a day. Not sure why yet, but it was the fault of my host. Looks like they have it sorted out now, so no worries. I do do regular backups so even if data was lost, it wouldn't have been all of it. Cheers,

The register...

Calypso has stepped up to take over the register with his unique style. Along with his creation of dozens of star-system articles, his contribution to this project is amazing. Thanks Caly!

The fate of the Register...

Unfortunately Takuhi has quit Star Sonata and won't likely be updating The Register. In light of that I'd like to request a volunteer to write occasional articles for us. Basically the goal is to recap current events in Star Sonata. Updates and the reactions to those updates and perhaps other news like new teams, wars, team breakups, etc. It would be a great place for those who can't follow the forum to keep up with whats going on. Drop me a message on my talk page or in game if your interested.

Progress...

A huge amount of progress has been made lately. I'm quite proud of what this site is becoming. Over 184 article, 60 images and 1600+ edits! (stats} I'm quite amazed... but were not done yet. Quite a few permanent Star Systems lack articles and were still in need of many item stats. I know everyone is busy with the coming new uni, but I know we can get some good work done in the meantime. Great job everyone!

The Lyceum Register

I am proud to present the new launch of The Lyceum Register. Takuhi has volunteered to keep us all up to date on the big Star Sonata news with a semi-weekly update. If you've got your own big news, write an article and post it up. Try to keep it in a news worthy tone however... or it will get edited without mercy. :)

In addition, I've also setup the Lyceum Classifieds. Check out The Register to add your buy/sell request. This is kind of a trial run to see if the system needs any tweeks.
