the way RC works
you need to have a RC lvl equal or greater than the tech level of the ship you want to slave. So you need RC 2 to slave a t2 ship. yes... a t2 ship only takes 1 slot.. but it does not pass the tech restriction placed by your rc level.

Calcuations?
I noticed all the nice math/formula pages. I was wondering if this could also be done on the RC page so it would show how to calculate by tech and the slots available with Remote Control and Slave Research.
I know contrary to the normal restrictions about unable to surpass the "over 50% of RC level" you can have
1 Tech 0 Combat slaves with RC1
1 Tech 1 Combat slaves with RC1
2 Tech 1 Combat slaves with RC2
2 Tech 2 Combat slaves with RC2
2 Tech 2 Combat slaves with RC3
I am trying to figure out how to give a simple enough explanation of RC while still able to convey the above. Saying that you cannot exceed 50% of your tech in RC isn't exactly true.
Maximum
So there's no RC20? So... best slaves could only be 9 Paximinus or 2 EFF and 1 EFC... Wikilol 18:52, 27 November 2010 (UTC) Am i right?
- RC only goes to 18 currently. This does mean you can make slaves out of the following, however: Warden, Shrimp+, Pax Selenologica, Scrupling. -Nuromishi 19:11, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
- With Slave Research 5, most FCs run with 2 Earthforce Battlecruisers and 1 Earthforce Frigate. -Simon talk 19:28, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
