History

F2P Days (Johnston's 1st Uni)

Johnston began, as everyone did, in a Zebucart. However, the game became uninteresting and after about a half hour, he retired the game.

Several weeks later, Johnston returned to the game again, out of boredom. Johnston scrapped his first two characters and made the third character on his account; Johnston V2. He quickly would acquire enough credits for a Paximinus, which would become his signature ship for the rest of his F2P days.

After much time and effort, Johnston ended up with his first slaves, being four Helgas. Afraid that they would die due to not having yet purchased stasis generators, Johnston remained at level 10 for several days, until he met the player known as -Oliver-. Oliver, today known as Oliver Redemption, aided Johnston V2 in leveling, showing him galaxies far outside of The Nexus, and took him on multiple adventures until Johnston V2 would wind up acquiring RC 14, and consequently 14 Helga slaves, armed with Ethereal lasers and Medium Lasers, Ion Walls, Ion Banks, and Hestia Augmenters.

It was at this time where Johnston joined a team called "trep," which was led by people he knew from school. Trep gained only one p2p player, named "Nuke_Ray" or today known as vazaha pilot. Nuke dropped multiple adonis kits for the team, who manned it and built them up. Johnston quickly made this particular warp one galaxy home. However, hostilities began to develop with the nearby team Hiigarans, led by Higaran Leader. Higaran himself claimed that Trep's bases constantly shot him and his team. During this period, the director of trep left, and Johnston V2 became Director. Johnston led multiple assaults against the Hiigarans, but the team trep was utterly defeated, and many of its occupants lapsed into inactivity some time after the destruction of their bases. Noticing this, Johnston decided to dissolve trep, and carried over its active members to form a new team.

Dark Energy, Part I

When Johnston began Dark Energy, he never expected it to become what it did. It began as a small team consisting of only a few significant players, and these players included "squishy," and the team's first P2P member, "vagae." The team quickly claimed a Warp 1 asteroid belt galaxy, and built in it, as well as its shops. The team thrived. Many members began to flow into the team, among them genius 2000. Squishy joined the ranks of P2P, but with Johnston remaining its F2P director, the team's growth would come to a halt.

For a significant amount of time, the team remained of small size, with councillors coming and going, until vagae became a permanent councillor of the team. Some brief time later, squishy would become the team's second councillor.

In order to maintain proof of worthy dominance, Johnston would have to think of something. He created two more F2P accounts with characters Johnston V4 and Johnston V6. These would become Slavers as well. With the combined forces of Johnston V2, V4, and V6, there amounted a total of 42 Helga slaves when all three characters were multicliented. Other various characters for the purposes off Drone deployment were also created. The universe was circumnavigated by Johnston and his characters until he had done almost every warp one DG alone. A significant accomplishment for an F2P.

The End of the F2P Era (Dark Energy, Part II)

The day Johnston went P2P, he gained 120 levels in nearly tw hours through camping Hyper, which was broken at the time for leveling. Johnston would upgrade to an Earthforce Frigate and Paximinus slaves, scrapping his Helgas. Johnston would, in the following week, shoot up to level 300.

Dark Energy's nearest warp one neighbor was the weaker (at the time) team, Psionic Corps. Hostilites developed between the two teams, almost to the point of declaring war, but only a cold war of hostility would exist between the two for a long time to come.

Dark Energy would suffer a heavy loss. Tobal, on his own team "Imperium," would annihilate Dark Energy's galaxy and rad and cap their bases. Johnston would harass Tobal until finally Tobal surrendered. However, the galaxy was worthless to rebuild. Teammate zek acquired the location of a particular warp 2 galaxy which would house the team until the end of that universe. It became the first owned galaxy by the team and the first protected galaxy.

Vagae left Star Sonata and did not return.

Johnston's 2nd Uni (Dark Energy, Part III)

At level 512, and 2 hours prior to Universe Reset, Johnston V2 purchased and equipped an Earthforce Dreadnought.

Dark Energy thrived. They acquired an HQ galaxy, and gathered 14 galaxies. The team accumulated 30 active players during the reset. Several galaxies were eventually protected, and councillors Squishy and Seronys aided Johnston in leading the team to accomplish #14 in team rankings.

Adventures would continue. Psionic Corps would become an ally, and the two teams aided oned another in a multitude of issues and joined eachother in group runs through deep Perilous Space, even though Seronys was not fond of Psionic Corps.

The original Danger harassed the team multiple occasions, as well as several scuffles with Zephyr and some with failing leader Tobal, who only came to his demise when meeting Dark Energy members.

Zek would turn rogue and nearly tear the team apart, until he eventually would sell his account and leave the game to never return.

Near the later portion of the uni (2.5 months in), Johnston was upset to see team members having to pay large sums of money to acquire T20 skills. Dark Energy could not yet accumulate enough power for many of the T20 skill runs. Eventually, Johnston issued the following declaration:

I cannot support this team's players like larger teams can do. We all need tech 20 skills, and acquiring them would be far too difficult here. I disband in request that you find a better team for your skills. Maybe someday, we can reunite as Dark Energy once again, but now is not the time. Have fun and take care everyone, and always remember your roots in this team.

The team disbanded and Johnston became teamless and left the team directed by his F2P alt.

Resident Evil Era (Johnston's 3rd Uni)

After a series of adventures with Resident Evil members following and prior to the disbanding of Dark Energy, Johnston applied to the team, and was accepted, effectively initiating the greatest and most adventurous portion of his Star Sonata career. Johnston became close friends with many of the players.

He would, over time, achieve officer position on the team and become a highly welcomed member of the team. However, Johnston always saw himself as undeserving of the team, and, not wanting to risk being response of a team galaxy, remained in warp 1.

Johnston would help lead the shop-galaxy-locating effort this particular universe.

Squishy joined RE, but then left SS forever without saying goodbye. One of many important regrets.

Johnston's 4th Uni

Johnston would at some point then gain the buggy account, beginning his times of MCing.

Johnston's warp 1 galaxy contained two asteroid belts, Fermium, Gold, Tin, Titanium, Copper, Petroleum, Silver, Jelly beans, Faranji wingship ruins, mzungu ruins, bule ruins, and 3 excellent colony planets and 2 other colony planets. The galaxy also had its own AI base. Johnston ran the galaxy well, and it survived the entire universe without much disturbances.

Johnston's 5th Uni (The Final Uni With RE)

Johnston controlled a warp 1 galaxy titled Oblivion, which indeed would last throughout the entire uni, until the second to last week.

Resident Evil allied with Death Mental and TorchWood, whom were at war with Light Commerce. Being in warp one, Johnston's galaxy was a prime target. Whilst in the middle of shutting it down, Johnston was banned (the reason shall remain untold, however it involved a third party). Word of his ban slipped out, and Light Commerce used the opportunity to trash it. Having several of his bases capped by them, Johnston requested publicly requested some gear back, claiming it to be a "show of sportsmanship." Respect from several RE members dropped, and he was blackballed to be booted.

Johnston's 6th Uni (Dark Energy, Part IV)

Johnston, as of November 2010, resides on Dark Energy, alone.
