Ice Drones are among the most popular means of defense for many players, due to their powerful Ethereal U beam that easily carves up would-be enemies. Formidable resistances and fairly cheap prices make these drones in ready supply. They can be captured in Glass Matrix.
It is interesting to note that these drones were once wildly rare, due to the fact that they spawned only once per universe. Since then, however, their spawn rate has been considerably increased.
