Diffusers are items that add Resistance to a structure, whether it be a ship or a station. These devices require the Equipment skill to use, and vary mainly in what they protect against, by how much they protect, their size, and how often they fail and are destroyed. Some ships come with diffusers built in already, and cannot fail. You can equip as many as you want on one ship or station, the only limitations are your hull space, mind you that only if you have an Energy Diffuser 1 and 2 equipped, only the 2 will add resistance to energy, so equipping 50 Volatile Laser Diffusers is as good as 1 Volatile Laser Diffuser when it comes to resistance.

Transference Diffusers

These diffusers are for healing and being healed. Transference resistance will allow you to heal an object and not take as much damage, while transference vulnerability will allow you to be healed more.

Specialized inhibitors and facilitators require Shield Monkey and Berserker class to use, respectively.
