Warp Navigation is a skill that allows one to traverse deeper into the universe via more complex and dangerous wormholes. There are currently 4 levels of this skill, and 5 different 'warp levels' in the universe, starting with Warp Level 0, with relatively safe areas such as Sol or Free Market, up to Warp Level 4 with Juxtaposition and Concourse shortcuts, and the perils of the Kalthi Depths. This skill costs 10 skill points per level.
The class skills of Seers allow them to bypass Warp Navigation requirements to travel, with each level in Seer Class being equivalent to N+1 of Warp Navigation. This skill does not stack with Warp Navigation.
The Warp Level for a system or level of Warp Navigation is usually described as W(N), ranging from W0 to W4. Copper, for example, is a W1 system.
