Improperly named, it should really be more like Guardian or something because these guys can take a beating. While not as much of a shielding boost as Shield Monkey, it helps alot and compensates for the speed loss it gives. This skill costs 5 skill points per level and gives +5% max shileds, +3% shield regeneration, and -1.5% speed for heavy fighters and +4% max shields, +2% shiled regeneration, and -1% speed for other ships.
