CIS (Confederacy of Independent Systems) was a team founded by player It2 after the collapse of United Trade Federation. It2 was also the founder and director of the team United Trade Federation (U.T.F.) which was, at its height, a masterpiece of mainly f2p perseverance. CIS is sort of loosely based on the UTF, and at the time claimed to be much more democratic and fair than most teams.
The CIS was officially declared dead by It2 and was disbanded. JohnLuke2 the former councillor attempted to recreate the team after 3-4 years of inactivity but ultimately failed.
After that CIS disappeared into the annals of SS history and countless dead teams.
