The palace can be seen sitting on the sun. A number of bases keep it safe.

The Palace is a tech 6 base. Building a palace is one step in claiming Emperor for a team. The main purpose of the palace it to build the Emperor's Crown. The palace must stay alive for 24 hours in order to finish the crown ship.
