The Aether Escape Device is a device that is inbuilt onto the Aether Scout, and Aether Scout+. 
It requires 500 energy and charges at 25.0 energy/second, it creates a Aether Escape aura that increases the ships maximum speed to the max speed of 700 and increases vis by 100% for 13 seconds.
Because the maximum speed is increased to 700 it can go even faster with a weapon that has a knock-back.
