There's way too many features to list here, so you'll have to find out everything when it becomes available. Luckily, the program comes with built-in descriptions, which can be viewed by hovering your mouse over a component.

Intro

BaRR's Epic Calculator will be my second attempt at making a modular Star Sonata all-in-one calculator. On my first attempt, lack of programming experience and knowledge prevented me from finishing the project. I've returned to finish what I started; and I have the tools to do it right this time.

This calculator is like none other ever produced for the game of Star Sonata. Of course, other ship builders, augmenter calculators, colony designers, etc. do exist.

But...

None put the power of modularity into such a tidy and easy to use package. None implement every possible stat into the calculation of ship/base bonuses. And none match the pure awesomeness that is the Epic Calculator. Next time you wonder "Can this energy power my weapon?", close the normal calculator and let the Epic Calculator do all the heavy lifting for you.

Features

BaRR's Epic Calculator comes as a single .exe file, with a database containing almost all wikified StarSonata items. If you notice an error, or an item you want isn't there, you can change/add it yourself with the Item Designer. You can check what the suitability of a planet is, and what the cheapest options are to terraform said planet. With a large array of modules to serve your needs, BaRR's Epic Calculator takes the guesswork out of playing Star Sonata.

Current Module List:

Calculators

- Construction Calc
- XP/SP Calc
- Suit/Terraform Calc
- Base/Slave Slot Calc

Item Designer

Create, modify, and remove items from your database on the fly. Ever wanted to know how much DPS you'd do with a 1,000,000 DPS weapon? Create your own! If a large set of new items get added to the Wiki (say, tech 21?), you can use the Wiki Import module to mass-add new items.

Profile Designer

Create, modify, and remove profiles from your database on the fly. Ever wanted to figure out how a setup might work without spending any time in-game? Create theoretical test profiles and use them for just that purpose! Of course, you can always just mirror your actual character; but what fun is that?

NYI

- This module is marked "Not Yet Implemented."

Project Completion

The DictionaryManager.cs class, which took the longest time to code has been completely finished. The wiki importer is also completely done. The Item Designer is about 75% complete, and the Profile Designer is about 50% complete. The final module is 0% complete.

FAQ

Q: When will this become available? A: Within one to three months, depending on how much time I'm able to spend on the project.

Q: So, I was wondering... A: No more questions! Shush.
