Actually its 662006 if you want to be pendantic about it, actually the planet is over a million years old so it doesn apply anyway, not to mention the if there was a 'year' it would've started at 1, so in actual fact we all celebrated the milenium on the wrong year too.

If we were all going to die it would have happened about 6 years ago or so because the roman calendar got sorta screwed up at a few points in history.
